I wanted to write something just for you, because hinterland skin is its own thing, isn't it? That beautiful cool mountain air comes with wind that whips across the range, mornings that start crisp even in spring, and the kind of day-to-night temperature swings the coast never sees. Lovely for living. Less lovely for your skin.

Why I think tallow suits you up there

Tallow is the simplest thing we could possibly make — grass-fed beef tallow, rendered gently, and that's the whole ingredient list. What makes it special is that its natural fats are remarkably close to the oils your own skin makes. So instead of coating your skin in something it doesn't recognise, you're topping up something it already knows. For wind-worn, weather-swung hinterland skin, that deeper kind of nourishment tends to be exactly what's missing.

Made just down the road

Every jar is hand-poured here on the Sunshine Coast into amber glass — partly because it's beautiful on a shelf, but mostly because amber glass protects the tallow's natural vitamins from light. Little things matter to us.
